I met Al Katraz aka Roq Z in 1996 after he bought studio time. I was so impressed by him because he embodied all the skills of a top east coast New York Mc being from Detroit. I offered Roq the opportunity to record an album together in a similar fashion like Cuban Links. I would do the beats & he would rhyme with my assistance. In 1997 we released the Serum.
